Our curriculum
The firm was established in 1975 due to the efforts of Romeo Bigini, and in 1986, following a meeting with other sector professionals, a society was founded in order to pool different skills and take on larger projects, restoration and conservation works on artistic, historic and architectural assets.
Thanks to its wide experience, the firm is able to work to the highest standard in the most varied of areas relating to the conservation of artistic heritage, from the restoration of monuments and tombs, to frescoes, plaster embossing, decorations, paintings on canvas and panel, sculptures, fired clay, majolica, archaeological finds, and bronze materials.
In over thirty years of activity, the firm has carried out consultations and work in various regions of Italy, as well as abroad where
work was carried out in Cirenaica and Tripolitania (Libya) for the Italian Archaeological Mission.
The clients for whom it works are mostly public ones, Heads of Societies, Town Councils, Galleries, Museums, Universities, Curiae, and various other bodies.
Work and
consultations have been carried out for many years at the Republic Museum (Museo della Repubblica) in San Marino.
Among the many works carried out in the architectural field, the most noted are the restorations to the
Ducal Palace and
Cathedral of Urbino, the
Ducal Palace of Pesaro, the
Cathedral and Church of San Domenico in Fano, the
imposing doors of the San Francesco alle Scale and
Sant'Agostino Churches in Ancona,
the memorial section of the Diocesan di San Cirico Museum in Ancona and the Museum of Osimo; in Venice,
the complete restoration of the decorative display in San Vidal Church, the restoration of the large many-coloured, wooden ceiling in Santo Stefano Church, of the frescoes, of the
arch of triumph and the
walls of the counter face. In Libya, through missions carried out over several years, the restoration of the large, imposing
Arch of Settimo Severo in Leptis Magna, the
Punic monument of Sabratha, and work on
Zeus' Temple in Cirene have been completed.
Among the
frescoes, work to the series of
Salimbeni in the
Oratory of San Giovanni in Urbino, of
Lorenzo d'Alessandro and
Girolamo di Giovanni in the Camerino Museum, the camerte school series in the Ducal Palace; paintings by Salimbeni with the stories of St Andrew in the crypt and vestry of
San Lorenzo in Doliolo in San Severino Marche, the
Roman frescoes of the Crypt-Portico of Urbisaglia, of Panfilo da Spoleto of Amandola; the frescoes of Cimatori in the Sanctuary of the Graces in Rimini, etc.
The firm has, in addition, worked on important canvas and panel paintings, among which are works by Allegretto Nuzi,
Giuliano da Rimini, Paol da Visso, Girolamo di Giovanni,
Lorenzo Salimbeni, Lorenzo D'Alessandro, Giovanni Boccati, Carlo da Camerino, Francesco di Gentile, Pietro Alemanno, Carolo Crivelli, Antonio da Fabriano, Cola dell'Amatrice,
Lorenzo Lotto, Guido Reni, Baccio Bandinelli,

Restoration has recently been carried out on a large number of archaeological bronze finds from the Ercolano excavations, commissioned by the Head of Archeology in Pompeii.
